All-on-4 and All-on-6 solutions
Fixed dentures with fewer implants and lower costs? At 5DENT you will find the solution!
5 reasons besides All-on-4 or All-on-6
Do you want a fixed prosthesis but are concerned about the number and cost of implants?
At 5DENT we have the solution to this problem with the All-on-4 or All-on-6 implant system.
Do you suffer from the inconvenience of removable dentures?
Removable dentures often give us uncomfortable moments. They become wobbly when eating or speaking and make the wearer feel uncomfortable. But these unpleasant events can easily be avoided by having a fixed denture made.
The most common obstacle to stable attachment of dentures is the lack of a suitable anchorage point where the denture is firmly attached. Dental implants solve this problem. Implants create new anchorage points that serve as stable anchorage points for the fixed prosthesis.
One of the most popular forms is the All-on-4 or All-on-6 prosthesis, where a fixed denture is created by inserting 4 or 6 implants.
What are the advantages of fixed All-on-4 or All-on-6 dentures?
Fixed dentures (All-on-4 or All-on-6) are popular because they are an excellent solution for anyone looking for a gentle but effective replacement for their removable dentures, while saving a lot of money. Its positive features are the reason why more and more people are choosing this excellent and cost-saving implant solution:
- Thanks to the implants, it has a strong and durable stability that will reliably do its job for decades.
- For the fabrication of fixed All-on-4 or All-on-6 dentures, we use the best materials known today, which we tailor to your individual needs.
- Provides a permanent solution to the problem of removable dentures so you don’t have to struggle with it anymore
- It is a cost-effective solution as only four to six implants and prostheses are needed.
- The All-on-4 or All-on-6 fixed denture system gives you back the feeling of having your original teeth, your natural smile and your self-confidence.
For which dental problems are All-on-4 or All-on-6 fixed dentures ideal?
Fixed dentures (All-on-4 or All-on-6) offer a reassuring, permanent and aesthetic solution to a wide range of dental problems and life situations and are therefore ideal:
- For patients who have lost a tooth but do not want to or cannot afford the bone replacement required for implantation.
- after an accident in which most of the teeth have become loose or have been lost
- For patients with gingivitis, severe gingival atrophy (i.e. periodontal disease).
- People who already have a removable full denture but it is uncomfortable, unstable or can cause pain
- For people who regularly give lectures or hold meetings, if they frequently speak in public and therefore the instability of the removable prosthesis may cause discomfort
- For people who need fixed dentures for professional or private reasons
- For those who are looking for a cost-effective, permanent and aesthetic solution to their tooth loss.

The solution to your problem: fixed implant dentures All-on-4 or All-on-6
Compare the features of a traditional removable denture with the quality of life that can be greatly improved with fixed All-on 4 or All-on 6 dentures:
Traditional removable dentures | Fixed prosthesis All-on-4 or All-on-6 |
---|---|
In many cases, the adjustment is not accurate because there is no fixed anchor point | The fit is perfect because there is a fixed anchor point that gives the prosthesis stability |
Moves in the wrong place when speaking, laughing or eating | Thanks to firm anchoring points, it does not slip and remains stable in any situation |
Carrying is mentally exhausting, it gives us a sense of ageing | Wear it naturally, as if you still had your own teeth |
It should be taken out at night and kept in a cleaning fluid that can make inconvenience | Can be worn 24 hours a day, their care and cleaning is similar to your own teeth |
It is visible that you have a removable prosthesis when you smile and speak | Smile and speak like with natural teeth thanks to the use of special dental materials |
Which is right for you: the All-on-4 or the All-on-6?
What is the difference between the two?
Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages, and the choice depends largely on individual needs and your anatomy:
Features of the All-on-4 fixed prosthesis:
- Number of implants: the system uses 4 implants that are placed in the patient’s jawbone.
- Placement: Usually two implants are placed in the anterior part of the jaw and two in the posterior part. The posterior implants are often placed at an oblique angle to provide a larger anchorage surface and stability
- Cost: All-on-4 requires fewer implants and is therefore cheaper than All-on-6
- Field of application: can be ideal for patients whose bone structure does not allow multiple implants or who want to save costs
Features of the All-on-6 fixed prosthesis:
- Number of implants: The All-on-6 system uses 6 implants to provide extra stability and strength to secure the prosthesis in place.
- Positioning: The implants are usually placed evenly spaced in the jaw.
- Costs: As more implants are needed, the method is generally more expensive than All-on-4.
- Field of application: Ideal for people who have a bone structure that can support 6 implants and who want to achieve the most natural looking and feeling result possible.

How are All-on-4 or All-on-6 fixed dentures made at 5DENT?
The All-on-4 or All-on-6 fixed prosthesis procedure is a predictable and safe procedure where you only have to make one decision and we are happy to do the rest for you with outstanding professionalism and organisation. This is what the whole process looks like in our practice:
- In a personal consultation, we assess your tooth loss and together find the ideal and cost-effective All-on-4 or All-on-6 implant solution, if anatomically possible
- We use digital diagnostic tools to assess the condition of your bone tissue and determine if it is suitable for implant placement.
- We create an individual treatment plan and cost estimate that also includes significant savings and clearly shows you what treatment you need, how long it will take and how much it will cost
- Once the offer has been accepted, we will arrange an appointment with you for implantation
- The implants are inserted under local anaesthesia using a special painless technique so that you only feel a slight pressure. If you wish, the implants can also be placed under anaesthesia or sedation
- After implant placement, your temporary dentures are made. This is because we have to wait for the implants to fully ossify before we place the fixed All-on-4 or All-on-6 porcelain or ceramic-reinforced composite dentures
- It takes 5-6 months for the implant to heal and ossify. After that, the final prosthesis can be loaded. When this has happened, you will be invited for a follow-up examination. If your doctor is satisfied that everything is in order and the healing process is going well, an impression will be taken and sent to the dental laboratory
- Your customised fixed All-on 4 or All-on 6 denture is made in the dental laboratory from the material of your choice and the finished denture is returned to the dental office
- Your dentist will try on the All-on-4 or All-on-6 fixed prosthesis and if you are happy with the comfort, appearance and overall effect, he or she will attach the prosthesis to the implants with screws.
- It covers the screws with an aesthetic sealant and completes the All-on-4 or All-on-6 transfer of fixed dentures
Now you can enjoy all the benefits of a fixed denture for decades.

These are the questions our patients have asked us about dental implants (FAQ)
Our team of expert dentists with decades of international experience fabricate All-on-4 or All-on-6 tooth replacements at our 5DENT dental clinic in Mosonmagyaróvár, just 14 kilometres from the Austrian border. You can find detailed information about our contact details here.
Ha pedig a csontvesztés olyan mértékű, hogy az már csontpótlással sem kezelhető, akkor az implantátum beültetés nem lehetséges, így sajnos csak a kivehető fogpótlás marad az Ön számára az egyetlen megoldás.
If you live permanently with an ill-fitting prosthesis, this can have serious health consequences in the long term:
- Gum damage, gingivitis
- Insufficient and uneven loading
- Development of periodontal disease
- Development of temporomandibular joint problems
- Bone loss
It is therefore worth paying attention to this issue, because damaging processes detected early can still be reversed. However, if bone loss reaches a critical level, implant placement should be preceded by a bone replacement procedure. This makes the whole procedure very costly not only in terms of time but also financially.
If the bone loss is so severe that it cannot be treated with bone augmentation, placing an implant is not an option, so unfortunately the only solution for you is a removable prosthesis.
This depends on the number of dental implants to be placed and the difficulty of the implantation. The implantation time can take up to 2-3 hours.
- Meals: Light meals are recommended before implantation. Do not come with an empty stomach. Exceptions to this rule are implantations under general anaesthesia
- Brushing your teeth: Brush your teeth thoroughly and floss your interdental spaces before implantation. Clean teeth lead to faster healing and fewer complications. You can also use an antiseptic mouthwash or mouthwash
- Facial cleansing: It is advisable to appear without make-up so that the surgical environment is as sterile as possible. Do not wear foundation, powder or bronzer.
- Shaving: From a hygienic point of view, it is advisable that gentlemen arrive clean-shaven for the procedure, as the stubble can harbour many bacteria that can affect the sterility of the area
- Taking a sedative: If you feel it is necessary and agree this with your doctor, you can take a piece of sedative before the operation to relieve your anxiety before the operation. It is important that you inform your doctor about this medication
Dental implants are placed under local anaesthesia, sedation or general anaesthesia, so there is no pain, only minimal discomfort and pressure.
A panoramic X-ray and a 3D CT are absolutely necessary for precise planning of the dental implantation.
The cost of treatment is influenced by a number of factors, including the type of implant and the complexity of the implantation (e.g. whether bone augmentation is required). After your consultation, you will receive a detailed written cost estimate from us, which includes a significant savings potential.
The recovery time for dental implants and related treatments is usually as follows:
- Tooth extraction before implantation: depending on the condition of the tooth to be extracted and the jaw bone: 4-6 months
- Implantation: 3-5 months
- Simultaneous implantation and bone grafting: 6 months
- Bone replacement (bone graft or sinus lift): 6 months
- Bone expansion: 6-8 months
Our oral surgeon may deviate from the above recovery time depending on your health condition.
The guarantee can last a lifetime in some cases (e.g. mechanical damage to an implant screw), but the effectiveness and durability of treatments depends on many factors, including your general health and oral hygiene habits. Specific guarantees will be explained during your consultation.
Slight swelling or discolouration may occur after dental implants have been placed. This is normal. In any case, we will tell you what to expect and how to deal with these symptoms.
An All-on-4 or All-on-6 denture can be a lifelong solution. If you wear an implant-supported denture, 5DENT Dental Clinic strongly recommends annual check-ups and scaling.
Caring for All-on-4 or All-on-6 dentures is similar to caring for your own teeth. In addition to brushing your teeth three times a day, it is recommended to floss or interdental brush once a day and use mouthwash.
